LIVE Performance #artsitsforNHS

Whilst on lockdown at home John Galea has recorded a special live version of the iTunes Number 1 track ‘Hero Within You’ for the #artistsforNHS directly from his front room and dedicated it to all the NHS frontline workers and carers.

Other artists who have joined the appeal online with video performances from home are Singer/Songwriters Joss Stone & Eric Clapton.

Hero Within You that was originally released on John’s Christmas EP in 2018 Christmas Round The Piano featuring Guildhall Opera Singer Hannah Long. A new music video was released in 2020 set in the Historic Grade II listed Chapel The Fitzrovia Chapel and has hit over 100,000 views on VeVo/YouTube so far.

Artists4NHS is a UK based movement raising money to support the NHS staff and volunteers caring for Covid19 patients. We are endorsed by NHS Charities Together and are promoting the official fund set up for the frontline carers.
