Award winning Top40 Chart topping Norfolk born Singer/Songwriter John Galea has been working with the top producers and writers from around the world including L.A based ‘Beluga Heights’ (Britney Spears, Jason Derulo, Rihanna) & Grammy nominated production team ‘The Monarch’ (Rita Ora, Chris Brown).

   John started songwriting from the age of 13 , growing up in Norfolk’s coastal town of Great Yarmouth. After winning a UK national songwriting contest, writing for himself as well as many other artists, John has seen Maltese singer Thea Garrett record her first smash hit number one track in Malta, ‘ Frontline’ as well as seeing his track ‘Trendsetter’ being covered by German teen singing sensation Joelina and racking up 2 million YouTube views in his own right.

     After supporting McFly on tour, John released his 1st E.P ‘The Scrapbook’ and soon followed that with a promo tour and 2nd E.P ‘Under Attack’. This E.P was co -produced by the Number 1 producers The Monarch featuring the club smash ‘Golddiggin’ with Grime Rapper ‘Scorcher’. John released his 3rd Independent E.P ‘Notes From My Piano’ in 2013 and single’s ‘Struggling’ & I Am A Survivor to critical acclaim.

      After a short break on tour and performing at Summer festivals with his live band including The Sundown Festival and London Pride, John released his 4th EP ‘Missing Pages’ and released his Top 20 Chart topping track ‘When You Truly Love Someone’ as well as his Christmas single ‘A Simple Christmas’ & EP Christmas Round The Piano.

2020 saw John work on a host of projects and scoring his first iTunes Number 1 in 2020 with his track  ‘Hero Within You’ recorded with Singing sensation Hannah Long.

     John teamed up with Chart topping Rapper Ironik on the single ‘Don’t Wanna Die’,  which was the first single taken from his 6th EP ‘The Art Of Collaboration’. The E.P saw John team up with a host of Top 40 Rapper & Singers on old and new tracks.

      In 2026, John released the first track ‘Songwriter’ from his forthcoming debut album. The track debuted on the Official Top40 Chart at #31 and #6 on the iTunes Chart & #1 on The Amazon Music Chart.
